How is this different from hiring a web design agency?
Two ways. We build by hand. No WordPress themes or page builders, so the site is faster and there's nothing to license or patch. And we build with acquisition in mind: the site is structured to rank on Google, get cited by AI tools, and receive paid traffic, because those are the other things we do all day.
Why does hand-built matter?
Speed and ownership. Page-builder sites ship hundreds of kilobytes of code you don't use, which costs you rankings and conversions. A hand-built site loads instantly, passes Core Web Vitals comfortably, and is fully yours. No plugin subscriptions, no platform lock-in.
Can my team update the site without a developer?
Yes. That's a requirement of every build, not an add-on. Recent projects include a magazine whose art director publishes issues herself and a bakery that updates its own menu. If your team can edit a document, they can run the site.
Do you write the copy too?
Yes. Copy and structure are half of what makes a site convert, so they're part of the build, not an extra. We draft, you correct the facts and voice, we polish.
What about my existing site and its Google rankings?
Migrations are mapped URL by URL with redirects for anything that changes, so inbound links and rankings carry over. Zero broken inbound links is the standard, not the goal.
What's not included?
Ongoing content production, e-commerce builds with large catalogues, and custom web applications. If your project needs one of those, we'll say so upfront and refer you to the right people.
Who owns everything at the end?
You do, code, copy, images, analytics, domain. The handoff is complete enough that you could hire someone else tomorrow and lose nothing.
